21st Century Collecting Tool
Collecting Net Handle Hand-Carved by Dr Peter Zwick
This historical tool was presented to Prof. Michael Hubbard by Dr Peter Zwick of Schlitz at the International Joint Meeting in Perugia, August 2001. This handle was actually used by Dr Zwick himself on a net to collect insects in Italy. The hand-carved net handle is now displayed in the collections of the Laboratory of Aquatic Entomology at Florida A& University in Tallahassee, Florida.
